Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Chef / Commis de Cuisine to join our culinary team in the beautiful, historical city of Narbonne, located on the Southern Coast of France.
Here’s what’s in it for you:
- Salary: € 1800 net per month.
- Work Hours: 39 hours per week
- Schedule: 5 working days with 2 days off per week
- Accommodation: Shared room provided
- Meals: 2 meals per day included
- Contract Duration: Start as soon as possible until the end of November, with the potential for extension until January for exceptional candidates
- Location: Narbonne – a charming historical city on the South coast of France.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the head chef with food preparation and cooking.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in line with health and safety standards.
- Help manage inventory and kitchen supplies.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
Requirements:
- English on a communicative level
- Previous experience in a kitchen is preferred, but a passion for cooking and learning is much more important.
