Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie / Line Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team in the picturesque city of Narbonne, on the Southern Coast of France. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise while working in a professional and supportive environment.
Position Details:
- Salary: €2000 NET per month
- Work Hours: 39 hours per week
- Schedule: 5 working days and 2 days off per week
- Accommodation: Shared room provided
- Meals: 2 meals provided daily
- Contract Duration: Start as soon as possible until the end of November, with the potential to extend until January for exceptional candidates
- Location: Narbonne, a beautiful, historical city with easy access to the Mediterranean coast.
Responsibilities:
- Take charge of a specific section of the kitchen and ensure it operates smoothly.
- Prepare high-quality dishes according to the menu and chef’s specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your section, following health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the head chef and kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service.
- Help train and guide junior kitchen staff when needed.
Requirements:
- English on a communicative level
- Proven experience as a Chef is essential, but what truly matters is your passion for cooking and a strong desire to learn and grow in the culinary arts.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
