Job description, responsibilities and duties The person we are looking for will work in Bratislava within an innovative, international environment, as part of a motivated team. Responsibilities:

• Continuous accounting in the company
• Monitor and stay updated on current changes in accounting legislation and regulations.
• Ensure all accounting operations comply with Slovak accounting standards and legislation.
• Ensure correctness and completeness of accounting and tax records in the entire range of financial accounting
• Perform inventory management for liabilities, receivables, and assets.
• Oversee warehouse, payroll, and property accounting.
• Cooperation with control and tax authorities of state administration
• Ensuring day-to-day work activities related to accounting
• Management of personnel and payroll agenda
• Secure receivables collection process
• Proactively evaluate and propose improvements of working methods and processes within the area of responsibility.
• Preparation of analyses and reports according to the requirements of the company’s management.
• Prepare and file tax returns, VAT declarations, and related reports.
• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Preparation of statistical reports and documents for audit and tax consultancy
• Preparation of annual corporate income tax return

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

• University education (Bachelor’s degree)
• University education (Master’s degree)
• University education (Phd/MBA)

Field of study Accounting or Economic education with Finance and Accounting Language requirements

• Slovak – Advanced (C1) AND English – Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and year-end closing processes
• Proficiency in IT systems and software relevant to accounting
• Advanced skills in Office 365
• Strong communication skills
• Strong teamwork skills
• High level of fluency in written and spoken English and Slovak
• Willingness to travel
• IFRS (International financial reporting standards)
