Job Summary We are currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager for one of the world’s leading Oil Trading Companies who will spearhead the optimization of procurement, sourcing, and logistics operations. Key responsibilities:

1. Procurement Management

• Develop and execute procurement strategies ensuring timely acquisition of top-tier petroleum products at competitive prices.
• Identify and vet suppliers, negotiate contracts, and nurture supplier relationships to maximize value and minimize risks.
• Proactively monitor market trends and supply chain dynamics to mitigate potential challenges and capitalize on opportunities.

2. Sourcing Optimization

• Oversee sourcing initiatives to balance inventory levels, minimize costs, and optimize efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to forecast demand, plan inventory needs, and streamline sourcing activities.
• Conduct regular supplier evaluations and implement corrective measures to uphold quality standards.

3. Logistics Coordination

• Manage end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring timely product delivery to customers.
• Optimize transportation routes and modes to minimize transit times and costs.
• Implement inventory management systems to optimize warehouse space and prevent stockouts.

4. Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Drive collaboration with other departments to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of proven experience in commodities trading or oil and gas industry, with a focus on procurement and logistics.
• Proficient in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MS Office Suite, and data analysis tools.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage teams and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
