Job description, responsibilities and duties A leading Hospital in Saalfeld, Germany-Thuringia is looking for Qualified Nurses and Health Care Assistants to join their hospital team. • Patient Care: Provide high-quality nursing care, including assessments and care plans.
• Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitoring: Regularly monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Assisting Procedures: Assist healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and care documentation.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols.
• Emotional Support: Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Crisis Management: Respond to emergencies and critical situations.
• Continuing Education: Pursue ongoing professional development.
• Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior staff and students.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
• Perform nursing duties while maintaining a compassionate and respectful approach to patient care.
• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of patient care plans.

• We are looking for staff for the following departments: Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Cardiology, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Maternity/Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Radiology, Oncology, Neurology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Pulmonology, Dermatology, Psychiatry/Mental Health, Anaesthesiology, Pathology/Laboratory Services, Rehabilitation/Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Ophthalmology, ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat), Infectious Diseases, Burn Unit, Palliative Care.

Requirements:

Education:

Qualified nurse: University Diploma in health care and nursing

Health Care Assistant: High-School Diploma in nursing.

Work Experience:

Professional experience is desirable but not mandatory.

Language Skills:

German language proficiency at B1/B2 level is required to communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors.

Personality and Skills:

Clear communication skills (in German) and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Ability to take initiative and troubleshoot independently.
