Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Chef / Commis de Cuisine to join our culinary team in the beautiful, historical city of Narbonne, located on the Southern Coast of France. Here’s what’s in it for you:

• Salary: € 1800 net per month.
• Work Hours: 39 hours per week
• Schedule: 5 working days with 2 days off per week
• Accommodation: Shared room provided
• Meals: 2 meals per day included
• Contract Duration: Start as soon as possible until the end of November, with the potential for extension until January for exceptional candidates
• Location: Narbonne – a charming historical city on the South coast of France.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the head chef with food preparation and cooking.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in line with health and safety standards.
• Help manage inventory and kitchen supplies.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.

Requirements:

• English on a communicative level
• Previous experience in a kitchen is preferred, but a passion for cooking and learning is much more important.
