Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to help us meet our acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative in the Facility Management sector.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands our company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by setting up and propose a strategy for paying rewards and commissions to sales representatives.
- Elaborate marketing and sales plan for facility management sector aiming at development of business and rapid growth.
- Identify business opportunities leads incl. following up on new or ongoing projects as well as supervise on the „sales departments“ in our group
- Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; appointment setting ; presentation of company’s services: preparation of proposal, follow up and negotiation; obtaining the contract and handover to the operation team
- Develop and keep relation with related authorities of the sector
- Put in place and keep high efficiency of a market information and industry intelligence system
- Responsible to report all the opportunities, proposals in CRM tool
- Develop technical and commercial proposal to replying to call for tenders and public procurement
- Liaison with other companies in our group and related Global Business Lines to get the necessary support
- Identify and obtain the new and existing legislation, regulation and standard and codes which may lead to develop our business
- Responsible for all the marketing actions (events, fair, workshop) of the sector with marketing department

- Postgraduate (Doctorate)
Language Skills
- Slovak – Advanced (C1) or English – Upper intermediate (B2)
Experience in the position/sector
- Business Development or Sales Manager in Facility managment
Number of years of experience
Drivers license
Personality requirements and skills:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in related field
- Strong business sense, commercial mindset and industry expertise in facility management
- Successful previous experience of winning contracts in the facility management industry / construction activities
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Can work independently with minimum supervision and lead sales departments in group
- Fluent in English
- Sales-oriented and self-motivated
